In the online MMORPG, Cyber Fate Online, a user called Dark Link and his friend TheDarkLord666 are logging on for the first time. Soon after, they meet a user causing mindless destruction, and attempt to challenge him. While in battle, he uses a dark blue orb of light to power up his character. This new character is too much for Dark Link (AKA Blade) and TheDarkLord666 (AKA Boltz), and they get overwhelmed. A user called Omegaman then logs in and saves Blade and Boltz from deletion. It turns out that Omegaman is a high-level user whose real name is Kieran, and he lives on the same street as Ross. The three quickly become friends, and Omegaman fill the other two in on all the details behind the user, telling them he's part of a Virtual Crime syndicate called H.Ack, and that he's been fighting H.Ack since his first login.
