I want to colour my last picture and I thought I may be doin it step by step so you guys could give me some advice so I can imrpove my style =) At least that is what good people would do, and you wouldn't wanna be a bad person, would ya? ^^

Okay, I'll see what I can do to teach you some tricks.
The drawing itself isn't too bad at all, though studying perspective would definitely be a good thing to do. The feet of the character in the foreground look rather flat, and the buildings in the background are lacking a sense of depth and scale. Spending a little time researching guns might also be an idea. That gun looks more like a Space Marine bolter than the realistic guns seen in MGS4. There are plenty of websites you can use to look at photos of real guns and military equipment.
The thing I noticed first is the colour though. At the moment. you seem to be drawing line art, then colouring over it. If you're going for a full colour finish in this style, like 'Fullmoon Stories' or 'Pinky TA' that's alright, but on the pic you posted, it kind of looks like you're trying to get your line art to show through, but you don't know how.

If you're using photoshop, try this:
Duplicate your line art layer and make two new layers between the bottom line art (which you're keeping as insurance in case of mistakes) and the new line art copy layer.
Your layers window should now show:
-background copy
-layer 1
-layer 2
-Background
Use the fill tool and fill layer 2 in white. Set the top layer, 'background copy' onto 'multiply' mode. Now put your colour onto layer 1. You should find that now the colour goes on and the lines stay over the top, like colouring in pen or pencil drawings with markers or watercolours. Try it out!

Hm do you think I should start a storyline? Would be worth a try. Until now I was just looking for tips to improve my art =) I will try to start a short story with the next update. Thanks!

I just draw what comes to my mind, like the alien barkeeper who asks for drinks in the outer space =P

Well, once an idea pops into your head, you could try to turn it into a storyline.

Hi all. I made a front page for my Marines in Space Comic, I'm thinkin to use it as thumbnail. I tried to apply som light like in one of the tutorials on this site. I think it came out well =) Tell me what you think dooodes
