What are your favorite completed webcomics? Do you have any done yourself? There are so many out there that are still in progress, or the author lost interest and dropped it, or - they just don't have a story or an ending. Which is okay, but it'd be nice to read something where the whole story is available.

"1/0" is a paradox; in a way that "0/1" is not. Nothing can be divided by zero. If one approaches the formula from the positive side, it would appear that the answer is an infinite positive value. If one approaches the formula from the negative side, the opposite is true. Thus, anything divided by zero is simultaneously positive and negative infinity. "One over Zero" is a paradox in another way too, in a way that transcends mere arithmetic. One is something, and Zero is nothing. The fact that the universe holds something over nothing, that it prefers to exist, rather than not exist, is fundamentally absurd. No being can ever come to deserve its own birth. 1/0 is a cry out against mere logic and efficiency. Stuff exists. All existence, all truth, cannot be ultimately justified: it can only be described, explained, and enjoyed.

1/0 is illogical. 1/0 is irrational. 1/0 is impossible. 1/0 is transcendentally unfair.

1/0 is true. Deal with it.

A couple of fairly short ones - one written by me, two by a Brazilian creator (E.C. Nickel) for which I provided an English version of the script:

Rad Starjack: Elysium

A tongue-in-cheek SciFi spoof. Think indiana Jones in space.

The Long Vigil

A little piece of deep space horror with a psychological twist.

Immortality

A slice of classic-styled SciFi with aliens and androids, no less.

This is kind of cheap of me, but rum's tale, and old comic I did was finished...

http://www.drunkduck.com/Rums_Tale/

It isn't very good, one of my first comics, but it IS finished... I don't know of any webcomics online that are finished that I enjoy, all of my favorites have been abandoned or are still a WIP.

God I love 1/0. That comic is a classic.

I had to make sure my comic was done before even posting it on Drunkduck:

Maybe not my personal best, but I'm happy with how this turned out. In all honesty, it's to show off my skills as a writer.

It used to be Bird and Worm until it came back.

Now as for my own favorite completed comic... it would have to go to my 100-page comic, BFF.

Beermonkey

4 In The Morning

Turbo Kiwi

I think Killfrog probably counts as a web comic, right? It was ages since I've been there or they updated.

Elftor will update again, but in the year 2010.

Pupkin was an interesting web comic too.

A lot of stuff that used to be on DD moved to over keenspace, and I just never bothered reading anything there. Besides Dave Kelly's work, which is worth mentioning. He's still around on something awful making cartoons. I think he's also still a furry too.

Bollox was a favorite of mine as well.

One of my old comics from around 2002-2003 that I liked a lot, The Grey Life, ended as well.

Mall Monkeys is another good one to mention.

I think Badblood ended as well. Liriel used to be pretty heavily involved in our community, and according to her latest post she's gone from the scene. I feel bad for her not being around.

Another comic moderator that ended their comic is RDT. You of course all should know Skoolmonkee.

The list goes on and on about stuff I've seen thats gone. People I've known on here who have just disappeared for no reason. All different arts and writing styles. All types of personalities and character traits. And I'm still around. After all this time, I've yet to give up the dream like so many others. I've flirted with leaving but everytime I do its only a matter of time before I come back. I like doing my comic, it gives me a bit of structure, and I uh, oh I'm being serious. Sorry to break kayfabe there for a second guys. Just imagine I said something dirty and funny.

Wasn't there one that got featured a couple months ago? It was black and white, had a beautiful inking style, and it was about aliens stealing American technology or something. Forgot the title... The Lost or something like that. I'll have to do a search through the featured list once I have the time. It was about 150 pages long and the creator said he was submitting the script and idea to hollywood or something.

Heh, good luck with that.

My comic The Temple of a Thousand Tears has ended, but I'm fixing it up for a Definitive Edition which will be posted exclusively on Drunk Duck. That should start going up this weekend, and update daily.

I also have 2 prequels and a sequel in the works. The prequels are deleted chapters from the story, and more in depth about backstory and the world these characters live in. The first prequel should be coming out next year, immediately followed by the second. The sequel is still in pre-production, working on the plot and all the character designs.
