What are your favorite completed webcomics? Do you have any done yourself? There are so many out there that are still in progress, or the author lost interest and dropped it, or - they just don't have a story or an ending. Which is okay, but it'd be nice to read something where the whole story is available.
It isn't very good, one of my first comics, but it IS finished... I don't know of any webcomics online that are finished that I enjoy, all of my favorites have been abandoned or are still a WIP.
I think Killfrog probably counts as a web comic, right? It was ages since I've been there or they updated.
Elftor will update again, but in the year 2010.
Pupkin was an interesting web comic too.
A lot of stuff that used to be on DD moved to over keenspace, and I just never bothered reading anything there. Besides Dave Kelly's work, which is worth mentioning. He's still around on something awful making cartoons. I think he's also still a furry too.
One of my old comics from around 2002-2003 that I liked a lot, The Grey Life, ended as well.
Mall Monkeys is another good one to mention.
I think Badblood ended as well. Liriel used to be pretty heavily involved in our community, and according to her latest post she's gone from the scene. I feel bad for her not being around.
Another comic moderator that ended their comic is RDT. You of course all should know Skoolmonkee.
The list goes on and on about stuff I've seen thats gone. People I've known on here who have just disappeared for no reason. All different arts and writing styles. All types of personalities and character traits. And I'm still around. After all this time, I've yet to give up the dream like so many others. I've flirted with leaving but everytime I do its only a matter of time before I come back. I like doing my comic, it gives me a bit of structure, and I uh, oh I'm being serious. Sorry to break kayfabe there for a second guys. Just imagine I said something dirty and funny.
Wasn't there one that got featured a couple months ago? It was black and white, had a beautiful inking style, and it was about aliens stealing American technology or something. Forgot the title... The Lost or something like that. I'll have to do a search through the featured list once I have the time. It was about 150 pages long and the creator said he was submitting the script and idea to hollywood or something.
My comic The Temple of a Thousand Tears has ended, but I'm fixing it up for a Definitive Edition which will be posted exclusively on Drunk Duck. That should start going up this weekend, and update daily.
I also have 2 prequels and a sequel in the works. The prequels are deleted chapters from the story, and more in depth about backstory and the world these characters live in. The first prequel should be coming out next year, immediately followed by the second. The sequel is still in pre-production, working on the plot and all the character designs.
