Aww man, I'm really sad to not see Ben's Book of Banned Beasts here. A real shame, because I'm sure if it had been the judges decision on who wins, they'd have chosen hpk to be one of the finalists. They seemed so impressed and excited about his comic. The voting system was just stupid.

Congratulations to the other winners though. And Good Luck to you, Jorge. Out of the 3 still left, your comic is my favourite.

All the entries were top notch, but I voted for Ben's Book of Banned Beasts and Grey Shades most. Gunplay was always one of my faves though.

Where did all the pitch videos go? I'm looking around for them, and all I get are stupid interview videos with the top 3 contestants talking about what pet food their gerbils like? Like, I care?

Thanks all for all your support. I am very excited to be in the final three, but will miss the guys who left. I really liked a lot of the top 50 and hope to see more of them.

It's a bit of a downer to see the contest getting to the end. It's been so much fun so far. But now we're in the final stretch. The last vote. It's going to be tough. But I'm ready to put on my Grey Shades t-shirt and duke it out.

Did they take down all the pitch videos, including those of the top 3? I seriously can't find any links to pitches.

They've been doing a lot of shifting around these last couple of weeks. Things popping in and out of existence as they reshuffle the look and feel of the site area. I doubt they intentionally took down the Top 3's pitches.

Hmmmm... not exactly what I was expecting to make it to the Top 3. I'm also disappointed to not see Ben's Book there. But I'm glad to see my second choice, Gunplay.



That comic was unique and all, but I can't imagine enjoying a comic composed of doll photographs for very long. She could've proven me wrong though... I like surprises.

They're actually my three choices so I'm satisfied... even though I'm not one of them. But it's all good. I had a blast in San Diego, and I have Platinum Studios to thank for it. So thanks!

It's an unfortunate coincidence, but I believe the base of his wineglass is magnifying a halo of light smack-dab on his nipple, which has the effect of making his nipple grotesquely larger than it really is.

Gross.

Strangely enough, my gerbil has a magnified nipple. Which is also gross.

Hm, actually seems to be better comics up this year than last. I'm torn between Gunplay and Grey Shades. No offense to the other comic, it's not that it's bad or anything. Just that I find Gunplay and Shades to be absolutely stunning.

One of the unexpected bonuses of being a part of this year's Comic Book Challenge was having my eyes opened to the environment that exists here at DD-- very laid back folks, pickled in all sorts creative juices. Thanks for letting Gunplay be a part of that. I've gotten the chance to connect with a lot of new friends and received encouragement/feedback from creators whom I truly respect.

Less than a day to go! Time to make the big push happen!
