A Daewoo Lanos. Which was voted by the Used Car Safety in Australia as providing "worse than average" coverage in an accident. D:
I don't dream big. Superfast cars and dream machines are nice, but I would love to drive a Alfa Romeo GT. Out of all the cars in the world, this one appeals to me and calls at me. I was delighted when it was featured in Test Drive Unlimited.
(The soap opera webcomic about nothing in particular.)
It's a cute little car, it chugs gas, the radio doesn't work right, and the air conditioner is flukey, but its a lot of fun to drive. It takes corners like no body's bussiness. >3
I drive a beast of a car. A used 1991 Infiniti Q-uh...something. Nothing works on it, but the engine (if i'm lucky). It can't be tamed. It doesn't start on really hot days, it smokes a lot and goes 0-60 in whenever the hell it feels like. My friends call it a piece-o-crap, but I like to think of it as a wild stallion.
What I want to drive is my Icecream truck, but customized so that it has giant monster truck wheels and a chainsaw built in the grill, to run over cars and chop up children.
I went from a Jeep wangler. It was held together by mostly hope. Then I owned a VW Jetta that when people pulled up next to me they though I was a girl.
But you can imagine it has no AC so I spend most of my time in my daily driver or my husband's truck. I also got a '03 Buell Blast, which is a sad little harley davidson crossed sportbike. Someday I'll get bigger and get me a Nightrod. XD
GAH! I'll drive ANYTHING!! I'm 21, and I don't drive because my parents are over protected and have refused to get me a car grrrr ><. I think the only time I'll finally get behind the wheel is after I graduate and earn some big bucks for something mobile. :/
Thanks Terminal and Bekefel! She's a real huge part of my life and it's nice to see that people can respect her.
That's at the track in, I think, late 2004. We got second place that day. *dances* Good times.
...and you race her as well? :D
Stop being so awesome~!
LOL - trust me I did. I haven't been able to race since 05 and I'm just now breaking in a new engine. I don't think I'm gonna race anymore - gonna concentrate on restoring her. We just cruise around on the Natchez Trace nowadays and sit out at Dairy Queen in the evenings. :D
Actually you're not that strange DancingChaos - My brother was the same way. He hates driving and didn't until he moved back to a job where he had to. And he was in his 30s. So no, not that weird.
