It either goes blank or reverts back to my old one. I know there is a topic similar to this below me however that was fixed with a simple format change.

The size and file type is fine. It just will not go up.

weird... both RapidoBlue's and notlikelytocare's avatar changed since yesterday, it works for you guys :D
do you see my avatar as an eye or as two guys inside a paper boat?

i just figured it out yesterday..... you cant upload a gif right now.... just jpegs.... hopefully this helps!!!!!

It seems like avatars are just taking awhile to change. I tried changing mine, and at first it just showed up on profile comments. It took about five or ten minutes, but it seems to be working now.

If we're talking about the comic's avatar, I've been trying to change mine for about 6 months. =\ The correct file shows that it is uploaded thumb.jpg, but doesn't show up as the real thumbnail. thanks, sorry if this is in the wrong area. Seems people use thumbnail and avatar interchangeably on dd.

Can't change mine either. It is 100 X 100 and jpeg but still won't load up at all.

Looks like this problem has been going on for months :-(
