Hi everybody, I re-did my comic Fates Entwined, and there are only about 7 pages but if you could stop by and leave a comment that would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! =D http://www.drunkduck.com/Fates_Entwined/
It's hard to give solid crit on a prologue, but I'll try.
I'm not sure it the comic consisting almost entirely of splash pages is just a prologue thing, but if I were you, I'd make sure to keep single panel pages for just special occasions, otherwise it's like reading a picture book rather than a comic. Use more panels and make it a sequential art story so more stuff happens on each page.
The artwork is good, strong groundwork on the anatomy, it just needs surface polish and work on the flow. At the moment, you're pencilling in tone, but not shadow. Shading the characters would probably give a more dynamic look, the fabric worn by human characters would look much better if it had some creases and stuff. A bit more background would help set location atmosphere too.
You can definitely afford to make your pages bigger, if you can bump them up to 600-700 pixels wide, then have panels on them, you can probably make a very solid looking comic.
Finally, it's not compulsory, some popular comics like 'Wolf' do use handwritten fonts, but the general consensus tends to be that typed fonts look clearer and more professional. try visiting font sites like 'dafont' and 'blambot' and see if you prefer hand writing or adding text.
