Was alright. That's not the point.

She is the point. Natalia Tena is one of my new favorite anythings. Her 3 minutes of screen time was worth the $6 movie ticket.

Has snape killed dumbledore yet?

I'd like to see that in the movies, but other than that, Harry Potter's lame. Gandalf, now theres is a wizard I can support.

I liked the Avatar-esque Water vs. Fire fighting at the end of the movie.

As far as villains go:

Umbridge=Win

As far as heroes go:

Luna=Win

As far as the movie goes:

Movie=good. not win. just good.

I kinda liked the last one better.

I enjoyed the movie on the fundamental level... but more thought makes me realize that a movie just can't be long enough to fit everything they need. Everything felt rushed, and half the movie felt like a montage. They probably could have cut 45 seconds off that kiss, which is about the only thing the movie ever slowed down for.

But of course you can't expect the movie to perfectly follow the book. That's why I enjoyed it for what it was.

Signature.

Alright.

Me and a group of friends (with pulled low hats and 3 days without shaving) went into the theatre to watch the movie. Because I have always read the books from when a was just a little tike (16 or something). So that means I have to watch the movies, just getting caught inside said movie would be death for my manhood.

But I enjoyed as much as someone who read the books could enjoy it I suppose. Because the books are always better, but this movie was alright.

I've read the books, so I, too, feel obligated to see all the movies.

I saw the movie on Saturday. I think the way Umbridge was portrayed was perfect. That got the perfect lady for it; wonderful. But, of course, like every Harry Potter movie, that had to cut out a lot of the major things that happened in the book. Guess that have no choice, huh? Or they could have just made it an hour longer...?

My favorite book and movie is still Goblet of Fire (4) The 5th movie was okay, but I thought it was short, and they left out a lot of stuff that was in the book

The movie was so-so. The fifth book has so far been my least favourite, though I'm not sure why. Though Tonks was cool.

Kreacher had virtually no point, though.

I just now reading Half Blood Prince. And I know the same people from before signed on to finish the whole story of HP.

I wonder how well they will do.

The franchise has almost been ruined for me due to the fact that both of my sisters are HP fangirls...

I saw it Sunday...

I really disliked it compared to the other harry potter movies.
It felt rushed and was way to fast for my liking. It also had a lot of dull scenes... To be honest I wanted to walk-out... however paying $7.50... I decided not to.

I haven't seen any of the previous movies yet. I'll probably wait until they're all on DVD and just rent them all at once, unless they run a mega-marathon of somekind on ABC Family.

Wasn't the book for this movie like 900 pages long? How did they manage to trim all that down into a 2-3 hour movie?

I've got mixed feelings on this one. Most of the movies this Summer have been total crap, and this isn't much of an exception. The ending was exciting and it had some great special effects, but the story was lack luster, and bogged down by a lot of ho-hum moments.

I loved the first two films and books, but everything after has been pretty boring/crap.

That is true. First two films were awesome, but after that it was meh.

They need Chris Columbus back.

QFT. That coupled with the fact that the books become longer and longer, and thus there is more of an urge to condense the story to fit the movie's run time. Then again I've just kinda' fazed Harry Potter out of my mind up till now (since it's in my God damn face everywhere I go). I'm just looking for spoilers for the final book so I don't have to read it.
