Hi, I'm Jolt, a just turned twenty-something college student, and right now I'm debating on whether or not to find a way to put the web-comic I work on
First order of business is to get yourself an avatar.
The comic'll upload fine- the pros are immense, especially if you've got confidence that your comic is unique and you put all your heart and soul into it.
Okay, just took a look. Elysian Sails looks incredible- surreal and just like nothing I've seen. You'll do well here!
Nadya- a tale about what happens to SOME of us when we die.
Currently: Nadya is awake and asking more relevant questions.
Drunk Duck is great. I'm sure someone could give you a good "pros" list (not sure about cons, most of us love it here), but the top is the community. Lots of great folks around here supporting, encouraging, and helping each other.
My comics are about knives, rats, and rats with knives.
The only real con I can think of is this place eats up all my time cause there's so many excellent comics to read, and tons of comments to make, and lots of interesting people to meet.
If you're looking for a real webcomic community with everything a community entails, then this is the right place. You'll get out of DD what you put into it. If you're just looking for a place to post your comic and hope people will read it.... well it's still the right place.
I don't really see any negatives to setting up your comic here, I mean there's no rules that you have to be exclusive to DD. But there's tons of hungry readers here.
