A wee problem this morning: I've tried twice in a row now to upload a weeks worth of new pages, and both times the screen came back to my page list, without the new ones. Is something wrong? Is the site rejecting newly uploaded pages for now?

I can't get either of my strips to upload, it will go through the entire process but not actually put the new page up.

Same here. This is what I get for not getting a page done earlier, I guess.

I cant upload ANYTHING! I tried uploading a strip and it wouldnt work. I tried uploading a picture into the file storage area and it showed up but for some odd reason didnt upload the picture itself. It just did the image. THIS IS A MAJOR PROBLEM! Fix this or else on monday my schedule will get clomped.

I've had trouble in the mornings between 9 and 11, but it seems to work fine in the afternoons. It's been annoying, but not devastating.

We are having some server issues. A temp folder is filling up and not emptying. Volte has manually emptied the folder and is looking towards a a permanent fix.

Should work right now though.

i just tried and it doesn't work ! same problem as described above, it just seems to go through the motions and does nothing !

Correct. The temp folder is full again and needs to be manually emptied. Nobody is in the office until Monday. Sorry. :/

I uploaded ten pages earlier, with full mile long rants. I looked again just now to edit their content, and they weren't there. I tried to upload tomorrows page by itself, and nothing.

Am I to believe that Drunk Duck is un-updateable until monday?

Out of curiosity, how bad is this going to effect people that schedule their uploads?

I mean, will they not update on Sat and Sunday then on Monday they will update but their Sat/Sun pages will not?

Or will they all be uploaded on Monday?

Or are they the only ones immune since their work is already on the server and actually will update as normal?

If that's the case I will know what to do by next weekend if this temp folder problem still persists.

Unfortunately the answer is yes. If I catch Volte online I'll ask him if he can do it before hand, but I don't think he has access to those temp folders until Monday.

Previously queued pages (before today) should not be affected. Probably. I'm sorry we can't give you a more definite answer, but this is the first weekend we've ever gone through this.

Volte says he will fix tonight when he gets back home.

Heh, I heard wind of this last week sometime...

Today was the first day I was actually affected by it though...well now...I will have to keep trying to get Plague's next page loaded FOR Monday...if not then I will post it Monday morning when I get up again.

Thanks for the effort guys, I hope the fix is coming soon...it's got to be as much a headache for you as it is for the posters...

So SpANG, does this mean that the temporary outage earlier was related to Volte purging that folder? Because if so, I am still unable to update. If not, that's just a new problem you guys are getting sandbagged with, and I apologize for being the messenger. lol

Your posts stopped at around 3 AM, and Volte emailed me that he fixed it at 4 AM, so everything should be okay now.

The bug isn't fixed. I can't upload again.

I sent an upload on Saturday that didn't go through, and I can't upload now (monday morning) either.
