well idk how ninja gnomes are on topic but you could always just fill there favorit food with posion (the easy cowerdly way to do it) or you could take them head on or you could just remind them that its the year 2007 and the only ninjas around any more are virtual (and if they are virtual you can A: give them a virus or B: dealeat them)
