I was wondering at what time the site updates and such. I was looking at my stats page and I think I noticed that it is several hours behind when my actual day starts. so I will look and be like "why am I still getting views yesterday, and none today?!" I just wonder.

If you know about GMT, which is like the zero point that we calculate time from around the world, then I think DD stops counting the previous day's stats at around 5 AM or 6 AM GMT and then they reset as soon as you get another 10 hits after that time.

well thats cool, that means that it resets basically at midnight for me (est which is GMT+5. hmm, maybe I was just confused.
