Hey, so, a friend of mine and I always find a new message board, text-based RPG to play each summer, and unfortunately we can't find one this year. I was just wondering if anyone knows any that might be active right now and actually kind of decent. We don't really like fandom RPGs, except Harry Potter (shut up, they can be awesome)...

How does a forum rpg work?

Basically, people choose characters (either characters from the fandom the RPG is about or characters they've created), get together, and basically make a story together. You write about your character, and other people write about theirs.

Yeah, that's pretty much it. I can't reccomend any, as the only ones I go to are based on Avatar: The Last Airbender.
