I think that DD should have A Built in spellchecker...
I mean...I was reading The topic about the edit button, and it was going on about spellcheckers on Google and Firefox...But I don't have Firefox, And I don't exactly need it...

But that wasn't the main reason for this thread....The main reason was this: I think there should be a "block" button...
I mean...On your(or some of you, I know) comics, You have these n00bs who you've Critisized, Yet given good advice to, Just flame you, and insult you and...Well...Just give you bad ratings...(I know ratings don't mean anything, but its quite nice to have 5's on every page)
So basicly, You should be able to block users from commenting on your comics...
Also, I think you should have the same option, on the comments on peoples profiles, and the PQ's...(I mean, sure, you could just not approve the comment, but it would kinda get annoying after a while...)
(And I know, theres a report comment button, but after you report the "n00b" they just flame you some more, and sometimes through PQ...And it gets annoying...)

Life is like shit. Its just so....Shitty....

Hm, does every site really need a built-in spell checker? That's a pretty hefty piece of software, isn't it?

About blocking - admins will delete any comic that comes through (and give warnings for nasty comments)... but if someone is leaving you enough nasty comments that it's becoming a problem (make sure you've asked them to stop of course), then it's harrassment (and against the site rules) and you should tell the admins about it. Blocking a user from your comments will keep them from being a pain on your page, but it isn't stopping them from being a pain anywhere else. It's pretty rare when admins notice a user's commenting pattern on their own, but if people tell us then we can start freezing them, etc., which usually straightens most things out all around.

The new Firefox web browser has a built in spell checker... no assembly required. If you misspell a word, a line of dots show up under it.

Google (It's also compatible with both IE and FF :O And with only one install, that's awesome!) gives you much better results! I mean, come on, I get a red line for typing FireFox >.>

both of these suggestions are completely un-necessary !

1 - Get FireFox
2- <!--[COMMENT_FORM=400,200]-->

if you don't understand then maybe YOU are the "n00b"

I don't really know about firefox, But I'm guessing its like a broadband(So its not a program)...And I'm to young to really be able to....Pay for firefox....Or whatever...I don't think I could get firefox...Just saying, it could be helpful...

Um, Firefox is a 100% free browser program that takes all of 2 minutes to download and set up. After that you just use it instead of Internet Explorer (that little blue 'e' you click to get onto the internet).
It's got nothing to do with broadband.

Yeah, but if he hasn't got administrator rights he can't install it anyway.

You know though, I'm pretty sure they make a portable version of Firefox that goes on a USB stick...

It's free.

It's called a jump drive, and yes, U3 does that. But I'm not sure what browsers they have, though I'd imagine they would have FF.
