At first you're like, "Oh my God this person says I suck now...is there something wrong with me?" But then you have to realize the person posting those comments is just some 14-year-old kid in Akron who's off his medication. You have to have a thick skin to be in the public eye and now criticism is absolutely meaningless to me. Sure, I love to hear the nice stuff, but the bad stuff doesn't matter in the end.

On the Internet, exposure is so much easier. I don't have to go through a record company and go through focus groups and things like that to be marketed. It's a lot easier to make a living this way... well, it's a lot easier to make a living creatively than it used to be, which is fantastic.
