Hi my names Midnightstories I'm a one man band have been doing comics for about a year now. I come from a 3D background and my aim is make a 3D comic that looks like 2D comic. I'm still working on digital inking. I Use various 3d programs lightwave , poser7, Carrara5, and modo for modelling. I'm getting the toon shaders pretty close to what I want, and the process still needs a far bit of post work in photoshop. If you want to have a look at my work, check out the oblivion comic http://www.drunkduck.com/Oblivion/.

Max9 takes a bit too much work to get out a scene but if you got the time and the toon shaders you can get some good results. Poser is way quicker don’t have to model so much and the toon shader are getting pretty good. I've just about worked out the best way to do digital inking will put up a tutorial soon.
