Please put the some more info in the thread starter topic than just a description of the link ok
You should give a summery of the situation and the link is for people who want to find out some more from the source.
I would blame a blight of some sort before cell phone use. I know the american honeybee has been on the decline for some time, too. I would, however, blame radio and sonar signals for whales and dolphine beaching themselves, since they deffinatly use sound to navigate.
TODAY IN NEWS "Honeybees are arguably the insects that are most important to the human food chain. They are the principal pollinators of hundreds of fruits, vegetables, flowers and nuts. The number of bee colonies has been declining since the 1940s, even as the crops that rely on them, such as California almonds, have grown. In October, at about the time that beekeepers were experiencing huge bee losses, a study by the National Academy of Sciences questioned whether American agriculture was relying too heavily on one type of pollinator, the honeybee."
SO I ASK YOU, DO WE REALLY WANT TO KILL OFF ALL THE BEEDRILLS?
I heard about this on Howard Stern, his cousin calls in occasionally and is a "bee guy" who really, really likes bees. Then Howard mentioned it, and it became a relevant topic for me to discuss.
I for one, think we should kill all the bees. I'm alergic to bees, and I'm sure lots of other people are too. They are just as bad as the nazis, they are unsympathetic killers who must be stopped.
