Every time I try to link to something using: <a href="link">link words here</a> it just deletes it or saves the words them self. What am I doing wrong?

If you're trying to link something in the author's notes or something, you have to use BBcode.



You can only use HTML if you're editing your template in the Raw HTML layout editor thing.

EDIT: Apparently the code tags don't like to display BBcode... Just replace the { } with [ ].

Edit: It won't let me link out of drunkduck.com whatever url I put in has www.drunkduck.com at the beginning

Just click "edit signature" under your post to see how the test link I put there works ok? That's a link outside of DD in BB code. You have to remember to put the "http://" stuff at the start or it'll just do those links back to DD.
