Hey everyone, it's Wark, and I'm back with some serious comic material. If you like a mix of action, a slightly futuristic setting, sword-fighting, gun-firing, outrageous slapstick humor, and online RPGs, this comic's for you. Oh, and I almost forgot to mention - IT'S A MANGA! Here's the summary:
In physics, there is an alternate universe classified as the "Line Dimension", in which there are individual lines connected with humans and the objects or beings they interact with. Mario Luciano, Santiago Garcia, and Mercedes Briana have nothing exciting to do over the summer until they discover an online RPG called Final Destiny, in which over 600,000 people roleplay in a somewhat modern-day setting. The graphics are cutting-edge, the gameplay is beautiful, and there have been few bugs since the official release after the beta. Then an unknown number of lines snap, and crap happens. Certain events in the game start happening more and more in real life...not to mention a number of infected-line incidents in reality. In the midst of the danger, the trio soon realizes that they'll have to start taking this game seriously - someone has just put them on their hitlist. The other players have started to realize the danger of the RPG as well, but others like the change. And in the meantime, someone - or something - seems to be orchestrating events for its own purposes. How far should one go to protect himself/herself?
Of course, it's not going to be completely serious. There might be something happening in the background that doesn't make much sense. Certain parts of the comic will refuse to take themselves seriously. But more for your enjoyment, eh? ;P
Right now the comic just needs to get over its crazy introductory chapter, and then things'll start rolling very fast. Hope you can keep up!
