I was creating a new comic today and selecting a template for it ( since I don't have time ATM to make my own..) and I noticed that the author and comments text on the Brute 2.0 template is completely unreadable. :/ Black on darkgrey.. eek. I don't know if you have any designers on staff there, but they might want to have a look at it.
Speaking of that, is there a chance of getting some new templates? with previews? cuz that would be very cool for those of us without the time or skill or confidence to make a template ourselves. :P
I agree. If I hadn't been here before the remake and so had all my old page data in my custom html file to work from, I would have found making a custom template very hard. Is it possible to have a very simple template with no colour scheme and no complex java stuff that could be used as a base to add your own HTML work from?
...come to think of it...if I use my code from the HTML page of my comic and edit out the stuff that only applies to my own comic, I could maybe make such a template. I'll give it a go.
There is a big homepage update coming in the next month, so I think most of the template authors are waiting for that to happen before they do the work of updating all their code and stuff (since they don't want to do it twice) ... most of the templates were donated by DD members, so it's easiest for them to do the editing since they know how the things are put together.

Useful previews for the templates are coming. Promise.
And some cool stuff for all you non-coders out there.
