While I think it's cool you can jump around chapters easily from the homepage, I think it's a pain that there's no previous button unless you hit the "latest" button up top. It's not uncommon for people to miss recent comics, and needing to navigate an extra page to check is mildly obnoxious.
I've fiddled a bit and it seems the NAV DD tags (normally found on the index pages) don't work on the homepage. So, that's going to be something I request from Volte. I think they have a lot on their plate right now though so they may not get around to it right away.
There isn't a way to get rid of it, no. That's something that people have been asking for (ever since they clicked on a link they were uncertain about even though it says CANNOT BE UNDONE) so I expect it's something on Volte's radar. Not sure what his work queue looks like though.
You know, more and more it seems like we're turning the Homepage into a typical comic page template. But I guess that's not necessarily a bad thing, since having a homepage allows you to have all your important stuff on the front page and quicker-loading pages for browsing.
I like the home page thing, the chapters and all that. It's great for those who doesn't know how to code or doesn't want to. The only thing that bothers me is that it has the latest page on it, I mean, It's almost a replica of the latest page with more options, and I don't like that. I would use it to place a cover or something like that. Buttons, news... not a comic page. I always press the "latest" button anyway.
Meanwhile, if you don't want to have your latest page on the homepage, just find and remove the tag that says PAGE ... maybe put a different picture there instead (load it into your gfx folder and link to it?)
