Most of the comics that were deleted where comics that broke rules. Either posting porn, or not having a comic at all (just random pictures).

I should remember, I reported some of them.

There are no plans to purge comics. At least none that I know of. No worries~

Edit: To clarify, we do reserve the right to freeze accounts that we feel are violating the rules. However, if you're thinking of some massive genocide of a particular type of comic, that kind of purge...then no, there aren't any.

Ok, this is why I ask. So I know. While I think a lot of sprite comics need more quality, some show real effort. And then the rumors of bad comics getting deleted made me wonder what standards were going to be used, since it was just a rumor I honestly feel better.
