Hey everyone! I'm putting together a show featuring independant comic book creators, and am looking for any indie creators who may want to join us.
The show will take place at the Strand (in McAdoo, PA) on August 5th. The show starts at 6PM, and will feature:
Marc Graci and Miho Myojin of Twisted Art Productions
Tedd Miller of "Chewy" (www.myspace.com/chewycomics)
Danny Miccouloupi of "M"
Beau Schemery of "Satan's Bake Sale"

I'd go but I don't have enough material. But I do know people in Pittsburg that might be interested. I'll talk to them.

What is this "STRAND" anyway? A bar? A hotel? A Bookstore? Someone's house?

I have no idea what "The Strand" is. It was never explained to me, but it's always referenced in a awed hush, and accompanied by a look that says I should know about it.

I'm scared... but that hasn't stopped me before. I once went to Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back on opening night. Hundreds of fanboys dressed up in plastic costumes and speaking in goofy voices?

Now that's scary.

Yeah, it's a skating rink. Should be cool, though. There's gonna be a couple bands and a lot of people are saying that they'll turn out. We'll see.

I think we have room for one or two artists, so if you want in, make sure you get in touch with Tedd. Or I'll get him to contact you.
