I'll just cut to the chase. This isn't a plug for a comic. It's forum. My project to help people out. It's for those who want to improve their work or want to start spriting.

We don't allow stupid excuses like "I'm lazy." We don't want you if you're arrogant. We don't want you if you can't take real criticism. We're not a country club where we all agree to blindly rate 5's to all sprite comics.

We are a simply a group of spriters trying to help out other spriters. Either with helping them get ideas, get some nice backgrounds, giving them advice on custom work, or even helping them just make their comic readable. So long as you're willing, we're willing.

Place looks kind of small since threads over 30 days old usually get deleted, but we've been around for a few months.

We're NOT a family friendly place. We swear from time to time, and some of the members run mature comics.

I got nothing against Drunk Duck, but I just wanted to have a place that was pretty much sprite talk only for convience. Everyone's free to join, but do we warned, it's really only about sprites and sprite comics.

We're going to be having awards handed out come June 20th. I admit I don't know exactly what we're going to do or how we're going to do it, but I figured I should mention it since it's a major thing going on in the forum at the moment.

I've already got a number of members from DD already, but if any of you who like commenting want to mention this thread to some sprite comics on here, please do so. I don't like seeing people quit comics for no reason, which is the main reason I started this place up.

Hmph. A bit disappointing showup considering I know of at least 140 comics that have updated in the past month.

I'd blatantly advertise the place every chance I get, because I really do want to help people, but I don't want to get banned for spam. I'm sick of seeing goofy gimmicks get passed as cutting edge humor. I'm sick of predictable jokes. But even the cliche can be put to good use should people think about it.

Everyone who comments on sprite comics, I need your help to spread the word. I'm going to help this part of the community, even if I can only reach a few.

I have a sprite comic (exploder-head in sig) but it's mainly a parody. I just haven't been making it as crappy lately because I have too much respect for Christopher Lloyd, Samuel L Jackson, and Captain Commando.

But I dunno, as I said, I have too much respect for the current characters to degrade them. Once I get them back to the present I may screw with it more.

Yeah, man, I'm already there. Literally!! Seriously though, anybody who goes there, I could use some more reviews of Final Fantasy 3.1. I'm not really sure what I can do to make it any better besides making more facial expressions and bringing down the violence level a bit to make room for real jokes.

I'll join and see what you think I need to edit in my comic because I'm about to start over.

That's one old bump. The forum lost popularity a while back from what I can recall, and eventually fell under. There was no paticular death that I remember seeing other than that the "I'm lazy" attitude it sought to combat kinda overflowed into the general forum population. It was "I'm too lazy to do this comic" and became "I'm too lazy to do this comic AND go to this forum."
