Now that I'm finally updating on somewhat of a consistent schedule and have a whopping 25 pages posted, I feel the need to plug, as I have an addiction to getting comments. Truly, I love them. As long as they aren't random flames, etc.

So, Emma is, on one level, a more mature shoujo manga sort of thing but with an American setting and what not.
On another level, it's an exploration of how everyone eventually feels about life at at least one point, and how being an adult really isn't what you thought it would be and sometimes you really just want to give up.

Now, that doesn't sound terrible uplifting, and I'll give you, the majority of it isn't, but there are bits and pieces that are meant to show why life is worth living, and that it really doesn't have to be this way if you choose to look at it differently.

A final warning- there is some, though not a lot of, swearing. There will probably be partial nudity at one point in the very distant future, along with possibly a few other things that I'm fairly certain many people would find disturbing/a little too much for them. I'll warn my readers when/if that time comes.

Oh man, I think I laughed a little too hard at that.

It's been well over a month...actually, more like 2 months, and plugging has been working fairly well for me so far, so I'm bumping.

Update: I'll be posting page 69 (maybe it's 68...I'm not sure) tomorrow, and the story has progressed a LOT since I last posted. I may be changing my update schedule to 4 or 5 days a week, depending on how well my readers bribe me.

P.S. I'm open to critique/constructive criticism, if you'd like to give any.
