This may sound dumb, but when I click on 'edit design template', all I get is a premade template dropdown menu.. and nothing else. Nowheres to change my layout at all. When I select a template, all I gets is a preview image (usually broken).

Is it just me? Do I need to install something to be able to see that? (this is a new compy, granted. do i need flash or something? ) Many thanks!

You only see the template if you pick "custom template". If you select one of the premade templates, you don't get to edit it.

if you select the None/Default/Own template. then hit Send!. The code should then appear for you to edit
