Well when i try and add characters on my backround (ON PAINT) i have to move it with the square thing it makes white stuff aroud characters on the backround and anything else in a colour accept white can someone help me???????????????????????????

Ok, there is a simple fix for this problem. You see along the left side of the window, below the toolbar. When you select your sprites, you should see two little boxes, one is highlighted in blue. Select the other.

Theres an even better fix for this problem. Don't use MS Paint. It's a terrible program for compiling comics with. Learn GIMP, Graphics Gale or if your lucky enough to own them, PSP or Photoshop. Alternatively, you can convince OpenDraw (it's part of the Open Office package) to work with sprites by converting them to Metafiles.
