Is it possible to somehow associate a date-of-update with the updated strips? Perhaps making it a standard part in the author's notes like with the old DD?
It would make it a lot easier to go back and search for certain strips, as well as keeping track of associated events between comics and large-scale events (like Webcomic Awareness Day and such...).
And yes, it would benefit my work with the Cameo-archive a whole lot! :P
Well there is, but it's only for the comic creators in the Edit Comic section of the site. It's under Date Live:
As for guest, there is no way to see when the page was uploaded unless the author puts the date in either the Page Title, the Author's Comments, or on the Page itself.
As you said, The old Duck did have a feature that pointed out the date of upload. Next to the Author's nickname, It's long gone though.
...it needs to come back. :-D

Just bumping this thread because I've noted that some DD's put the date of the strip in the strip-description in the drop-down menu... Death By Pixel for example.
Its easy, doesn't require much extra work and best of all, for the relucant ones, its optional! :-)
Well, if there's more than 900 comic to keep an eye on, and you only need the date for certain strips once in a while, then RSS might quickly overwhelm you.
"Locoma" Said: with just a click on a comic's RSS button you can see the date updated (<pubDate> tag)
But what if I need the specific date a comic was updated on several months ago? :?
As far as I can see, the RRS feed only goes back the last couple of updates...
Nifty idea btw, I hope its me who am doing something wrong!
You can change the number of lines of updates, but you have to creat your own webpage for that. I think I'll create one for Goa to see how it works. It's a good idea though.
//edit- no apparently the RSS only gives you a max of 5 pages. So much for that. :?

"To a rational mind, nothing is inexplicable. Only unexplained."
Just remember that when the Duck went to a new server on the 13th or 14th all the dates of comics already loaded got shifted back one day. So if a comic says it went up May 16, 2006, it actually went up May 17.
