Hi there. I've had my comic on D.D. for about a month now, but never checked out the boards.

I'm Steph in the comic and in real life. Feel free to call me that. I'm 15, a Disney animator trainee, and I have sooo many different comics planned up.
Uhh.. The comic that I'm working on right now is here and I also have a Deviant Art.

So yeah. Hi forum people. :-D

Why is this the only fucking place I've ever been where capitalization in a URL matters?

Capitalisation used to be a pain with old geocities sites as well... I don't know if it is anymore?

That wasn't the issue in this case.
ThirdPeriodLunch used the word "Third" instead of "3rd" in the url that was posted.

Yeah but in other places I've seen capitalization being a problem.

Glad you reminded me about that Tater, I just checked my old Geocities Fan art gallery (for pinky TA)... They still use the case sensitive thing there too :lol:
I remember that used to cause me heaps of problems when I was setting up my early galleries and things. Doesn't it have something to do with the way the server's set up?

Heh.. I noticed the case sensitive url thing. I never knew it really mattered anywhere.

I also think it's super weird. Like the first month I was promoting my comic I forgot to capitalize all the links, so no one actually got to see it.

Well, I think it has something to do with inputting your title. Lots of people use upper and lower case for the way the the comic title will apear on the page. They just match up to what you put in. :wink:

Yeah, that's a bit of a double-edged sword...
