So the two guys in the beginning of chapter 2 are bad guys I'm assuming. I am to then assume that there is a big(or small) organization that is opposing(?) Kaito and maybe even controlling the Anima(if that's even possible). Those are my predictions, don't tell me if I'm right though. I'd like to be surprised and read what really happens(hopefully I'm somewhat wrong). Just my thoughts.

Well, those are all good guesses, and for now I'm gonna keep my mouth shut on them. I will tell you that nothing of that nature is going to be revealed in chapter 2. In fact, the two guys at the beginning may not show up for a while, but don't forget about them. They're very important. But those were really good guesses. I'm looking forward to seeing what other people think.

My first impression of them was that they were good guys, but maybe that's just me being my trusting self. ^^;; (Watch them turn out to be the main bad guys. That'd be my luck.)

Another good guess. I'm trying my best not to blurt anything out. I'm trying to write the story in such a way that there's no real "bad guy", at least for the major ones. I might put in a few insignificant baddies early on so we can get used to the characters once the other two (yes, two) protagonists show up (new friends for Kaito and Yukie!). You can speculate on them if you want... (Josh, not a word from you about these characters. You know too much.) Haha... just kidding. I'm so glad people are using the forums!

Or...OR!! By the end of the series (in the distant future), everybody's gonna end up getting killed of...End of Evangelion style! Ho-yeah! XD

I bet those wizard guys from the prologue show up sometime and kick ass. Mabey by what he meant by there being no big bad guy just means there is no individual/organization that acts as a dues ex machina if defeated if you know what I mean. Perhaps the only enemy would be the book (tell me it's not suspicius). I mean mabey there is a spell to destroy the world by unraveling all the elements in the world, or kaito goes commando, or that wave magic uses up the life force of some god or the world itself.

Okay, I've gone too far, but they are just guesses. Knowing you, It will be something really awesome that I never would have thought of. Just promise me you won't make Yukie the helpless heroine who has no ability to fight. (I always hate it when supporting characters can't do anything but watch the protagonist fight because they got weaker by the end of the series).

Very good guesses. I'm surprised. All of the guesses you guys have put forth so far have either touched on the truth or have been things that I've considered in the past. Close, but not quite. I have plenty of surprises ready.

When I say there isn't going to be any one "bad guy", I didn't mean there wasn't going to be an antagonist. There will be several antagonists, but whether they're "good" or "bad", I'll leave up to you. Later in the story, the line between friend and foe is definitely going to blur. I'll say nothing more here.

And to Flameofdarkness, don't worry. Yukie's not going to become one of those useless female characters. She's going to get even stronger as the story progresses.

Man, I pretty hyped about the new pages. I can't wait to see what happens.

Enough of this smiley Kaito when do we get to see angry Kaito kick some Anima butt again?

Sorry to say, but Kaito won't be seeing any fight scenes for a few chapters. But there will be fight scenes. Just involving other characters. Although, Kaito does have a tense yet subtly hilarious face-off with one of the other characters. Yaaaaay vague hints!
