As a staunch defender of democracy, and the power of the Individual's vote, I find the ability to vote more than once for each fight a little disconcerting.

What about the poor honest worker? Where is his voice heard amongst the waves of votes made by the stalwart few?

I strongly believe that it is the votes of the many, not the select few, who should provide decisions in these most important matters.

First off, should I find it unnerving that the leader of the Third Reich came back to life to grace my forum with his visage?

Secondly, I feel the voting system here is more then fair. Everyone is given equal opportunity to vote, but it's only fair that those who take the most interest and invest the most time in the system get an advantage. We aren't forcing anyone away, nor are we busing in additional voters. If you show up, you can vote. If you show up more, you can vote more.

The idea that a deceased fascist, a bosom buddy of Satan, an undead dragon, a hobo with a cardboard mechwarrior, a guy with a stairway deficiency, and a kitty eared occupational therapy student all get the same opportunity to vote is very Chicago-style.

And we all know how fair that is.

That's me (well on the drunkduck forums it's me anyway).
And on the commenting on the match I haven't really seen or read (or found out through any media) enough of the combatants to really say anything about them or seen enough of the match to comment easily on that either. But it DOES look like it'll be a very interesting match to watch...that and the death of that stacy cat means it would be a bad idea to ask for a cast shot at the end.

Yes, Stacy was expendable. Poor girl. A cast shot at the end would likely be more like a firing line.

As far as commenting, I've only shown their picture so far and everyone seems to have pretty strong opinions.

I would be surprised if some of them are actually in enough pieces to fit in that screen shot.

Also, is the Australian participant, as I am assuming there is one, that drunken spiky thing with a B on its shirt that might be supposed to be an echidna?

only proble i have with the voting is no updates on who is winning, i mean i had to count way back when it was ten fer ten and tied. we need a place in teh comic saying who's winning/losing to start real vote wars between more ppls.
