--> Storyboarding the Simpsons Way (it's a 15-pager that can change the way you plan your panels. Granted it's for tv, but the concepts apply for comics too.)
Writer:
Fukujinzuke
(will also ask for SympleSymon's edits for Brad's lines)
References to date (more to come):
The Spa Lobby (which will be in the 2nd panel overall where Brad Stone + entourage (Vora, Bombshell, Titan, and Bleeder in disguise) make their entrance.
Ms. Ari (the villainous mastermind, co-created by AzuJOD and Fukujinzuke)
Side effect of Ms. Ari's alterations may include psychotic, homicidal tendancies...
Yeah... how about everyone prepares an R-rated version of their pages too? :D
I just wanted to mention: Sebastian_Sandberg explicitly asked to be included on this as an artist. But I'd say his name completes our list of artists for this chapter (except if Frank Cho, Art Adams or Adam Hughes apply).
If we're still brainstorming, I'd suggest adding Virtus to the rooster for this particular adventure. Maybe it feels like a little shameless self-exposure, but hear me out, guys. XD What role he plays is also up for brainstorming.
You'd be surprised at how many Virtus fan-girls there are (Yes, there's quite a number of those) who enjoys seeing V in a strategically tattered costume from time to time. Secondly, I could suggest a few lines that would give extra spice to the adventure from a writer's point of view. My favourite being "True beauty is diversity." And thirdly, we need a shy, insecure guy.
What I meant by "brainstorming" is that I'm brainstorming execution conflict resolution, and not cast, but I can probably write Virtus in at the end as part of a back-up team or something, from which I think we can slip in a couple of yuks.
Can you send me a link to his origins comic? Your DA only has pieces of stories but I was hoping to see the compilations.
On another note, this doesn't look like Virtus is very shy nor insecure at all.
I'm sorry, but the origin comic can't be found online, only in print. I do have all the pages stored on a hard drive, but they're all in Swedish and I don't think I have permission to upload them. Sure, I COULD send them over to you, but it's a huge file (30 pages), and I would have to reletter the whole deal, which takes too darn long for a comic that I'll definately remake, as this version is less than satisfactory. Is it really necessary? If so, it will be done.
And yes, he is shy. As you can see, the women are usually the dominant ones in each piece, right? Plus, none of those couples are part of the official canon, so any new girl is considered a first chronologically. Well, neither is V's HA adventures, but you get the point. XD
The origin chapter for Vitrus isn't necessary. I just prefer to read/know the characters I'm writing into a script, and the stuff on your DA doesn't give me a whole lot of personality insight. Oh well.
Anyway, the main cast remains the same. Hope that doesn't change your mind about participating as a contributing artist.
Well, my DA readers feels that I have established his personality quite much in all "Secret Wars" pages. Not easy to follow that monster though, I admit.
'Course not. Main cast stays, and it's tedious to draw V in the long run. XD
Tempest_Lavalle Said: Hehe, this looks like it's gonna be fun X3 My only concern is that Vora IS only 16, so while I have no problem drawing/having her drawn looking lolita-ish and cute/sexy, I would feel a little weird putting her into a particularly adult situation (however, I'm willing to compromise depending on the situation)
Tempest, No worries. Like Seb said, we're doing fanservice and staying true to the PG-13 policy of HA. We'll have bikinis and back-shots of topless girls, but nothing beyond that. I'll be sure to try to stay within character mindsets as I write the script as well (knowing full well that Vora is a fairly innocent and pure youngin' ).
dsandgnat: Will keep that in mind. After all, she's got some nanotech background, so surely she would have some type of weaponry like smart nanobots that can fabricate things like golden rapiers and hypno-mirrors.
Yup. I think what we'll do is put that as cover, then in the first story panel, we'll have Ms Ari putting that down alongside a Brad Stone movie DVD saying that these two high profile celebs have agreed to consider endorsing the spa, and so her staff is to make sure that they get VIP treatment. So we'll have two 2-person teams coming in: Bleeder+Bombshell, Relik+Titan, Bombshell and Titan being undercover as companions.
Insert pages of mindless fanservic--... errr... exploration of the spa (poolside, mudbaths, massage rooms, jacuzzis, facial rooms, etc.)
Titan will meet with the planted hero Virtus (who is posing as a recently employed Swedish Masseuse) which will lead the group to the secret lab takedown.
By the way, since I'm guessing that the HU Commander's status won't change for a while (at least 'til Alienation or so), I'd be all for a cameo (meaning: I insist! :P). Fan-service-y buttshot cameo. Not that she'd have to show up at the spa... we'll think of something.

If Dave approves, maybe it could be done via Brad's imagination from a very short comment of having the commander involved with the investigation?
Fake Script Said:
Example.
Scene: interior, Limo with Brad Stone and Aria Conti approaching spa.
Brad:
You sure it was the right move not to involve HU?
Aria:
If this spa really is just a front for some demented lab, can you imagine how they'd react if they saw the commander...?
Brad: (imagining Natasha in a bikini)
I think I have a pretty good idea...
Aria:
Get back in character, Mr. famous actor. We're here.
