try and come up with a plan for the battle, the posts wont count and your pqs

As I said in comments, someone needs to scan him to find his HP, MP, weakness, etc... With that info, we'll stand a better chance of beating this guy. We're not always going to have cure spells or E-tanks, so we need to know what and where and how to attack.

how do we get them?

As the battle goes on, the bars fill up. They fill from taking damage, attacking, helping team mates, etc...(battle stuff). It's the little green bar under your health & and MP.
