I never realised there were so many anthro type comics! Makes me feel a bit humble to have won something really.
I assumed that one was a pretty narrow field, but I was greatly mistaken.

In my day, video games gave you three chances to kill about 2000 enemies in one sitting with no pause button. Easy mode meant you got two more lives to throw away on the first boss. You don't know the meaning of hard.
I have to say I am awfully flattered that Z&F was nominated for a drunkduck award. Even though I have moved off to an official site, I still try to remain semi-active in the community and swing by my favorite DD comics! So nice to be voted for over here, aww ;0)
Lol I always get alot of votes but in all different catagories. Maybe I should ask my readers to vote for a certain thing next year... Or I guess that would be a bit unethical. Happy to have recieved a couple for Best Character Design tho.
Unethical? I told my readers specifically which categories I wanted them to vote in and gave them a link!
I assumed that was what everyone was doing...

I think it's a decent idea. It makes them think of your comic when that category comes up. Next year I'll probably promote my works for the awards better. Unlike this year were I didn't mention them at all XD
I actually encouraged people to give suggestions to their readers for voting. For the 2008 awards, we had some issues with readers not being sure which categories their favorite comics belonged under. Having the creators say, "Oh hey, we'd be a good fit for A, B, and C categories! Please vote for us!" gives people direction.
I personally don't think it's unethical and am, in fact, doing it now for the WebcomicList awards XD
