I was looking on project wonderful to see where successful webcomics get hits and I noticed that at least one of them (not naming names) got 150 hits today from the blog site "your web comic is bad and you should feel bad"
This is the kind of free publicity I need!
I just need to make people hate my comic enough that they will all start blogging about how much it annoys them and then *BINGO* web comic success is mine!

Now you're thinking. My surefire route to fame is to say something offensive and controversial and ride the hate train to Moneyville.ALL ABOARD! Next stop Cha-Ching.And the cool part about it? When they ask me why I did it,I'm just going to be honest and say "So you idiots would get mad start protesting and make me rich."

Actually this does make me think.
I wonder if there are any popular bloggers who come on Dd looking for things to talk about?
I like to hope so!

Harky, your webcomic is too likable to get bad publicity. >:[

But, It's true! All press is good press, as they say. Just look at people like Chase the hedgehog and webcomics like CTRL ALT DELETE. Their hits probably tripled when they got encyclopedia dramatica pages and they're still going.

I'd much rather have positive hits, though.

GracehFaceh- Noooo! Dont say that! Now I will never get any hits!
I'll have to go and work on a CTRL ALT DELETE style miscarriage story line, those are always good!

Now THAT'S story telling!

Question. Has creating controversy and splashing mud all over the place yielded any benefits to any of you?

I find that not just plastering cussing and controversial themes all over the net works.

I think you have to create something for people to argue about.

Any thoughts?

Though I haven't deliberately tried to make people hate I did just get over a hundred clicks from someone who gave me a really bad review.
They spent the whole thing saying how everything in my comic sucks...but hits wise I am still profiting.
Seems like being hated is the way forward!
Anyone else want to write a review about how much they hate Harkovast?

Is this really a blog? Can you post a link? I shouldn't be shocked someone would spend their time doing that but I am.

Hey that actually makes sense. Let 'im do it!

"According to society I'm an Anarchist" "If I came in peace, why would I have a ray gun?" "Apology, worthless. Grudge, not."

It's like Yahtzee's critiques for video games... the companies say that a bad review from him is better than a good review from anyone else
