Here you go guys. Rant all you want. Just keep it clean. And for anyone who doesn't know what we are talking about, look here: //www.drunkduck.com/Craving_Control/
I liked it. The pins ups are a good excuse to see laila in differnet forms. This one espically reminds how similer Titans art can be to World War 2 pinup art.
[Edit] Just noticed after posting it, that the girl is a red head too haha

+1 . CC's art and Titan's are quite different, but I really like both styles.CC's is more cartoonesque and Titan's more realistic, but I think both have talents to draw very pretty characters (especially girls).
Thanks! I came in here expecting an argument, and you guys praise me.
As far as the art styles, I have a lot of them..I'm not like John Byrne or Jim Lee, where I have only one style of drawing humans. I was never successful in the comics world early on so I never developed a singular style. Marvel's submissions editor consistently told me "your drawing ability is not up to our standards".
Most of my published artwork has been magazine illustration, so I have a mixed bag of styles. I have to admit I've never tried manga, though.
I'm rediscovering comics, because I believe webcomic strips and multimedia graphic novels like "Cowboys and Aliens" are the future of the comic art medium. The trend in comics to kill off heroes for publicity, IMHO, is symbolic of the death of the 22-page superhero comic story, as a platform. The future of comic books is right here!
Don't let other mean comments made by people who only look at art and not even the plot and funny moements.
And strangely, nobody who's posted a message saying he/she doesn't like your art, pretending it's gross or that "she's too damn fat !" ahven't posted any message on this forum, and it's been 1 day since the topic has been created....

I don't mind if they address her weight, but I was a little taken aback by comments that I drew her as a "dowdy forty year old". True, my pinup looked a few years older than CC's Lalia (mostly through the cheekbones), but she doesn't have one wrinkle on her face. Someone find me a facial wrinkle..! Anywhere!
Hey, I'm new to this comic, so i guess i cant really say anything, but i believe that TitanOne is doing us all a HUGE favor by just helping out, and on top of that, its good! i like the play of the ww1 bit, and i caught that as soon as i saw the stars on the flag shes holding. i really like your styles TitanOne, so don't let people get you down just cuz its different. change sucks, get over it. keep up the good work, and let us know when the storyline updates!
ah, maybe people are saying she looks older cuz of the bottom shes wearing? but note, back then thats what they looked like, and it did make them look older than they were. am i close? i dunno i don't see any wrinkles ether

Yep--the bathing suit is deliberately retro. Although really from the era of about 60 years ago, not our parents. I'm a big fan of Vargas, Norman Rockwell, Gil Elvgren, and Haddon Sundblom. (The Coca-Cola Santa man--also a great pinup girl artist!)
Well, I can't say that I like your art form more than CC, but I must say, that you do keep the spirit of the comic alive, and it does have its own essence, and I do enjoy them. Good work.
