Hey, gang! You want to be more involved in the Drunk Duck Civil War, don't you? I bet you do! So do your part and make a tie-in comic! Just name the comic "Whatever you comic's title is: A Drunk Duck Civil War Event" and post the link here so Zac and Mr. Riot can keep track and build a checklist! What we want to do is make sure EVERYONE gets some exposure due to this event! Need some more pageviews? A day or two off from your current storyline? Need to explain the origin of your "hero" in the Civil War? NOW'S YOUR CHANCE!

Here's another reminder and it's important: We want to print this when it's through. Yeah. Print it. We want to put people's pages in the printed copies. SO.
While we do accept sprite comics into our event, PLEASE TRY TO MAKE YOUR SPRITES AS ORIGINAL AND NONCOPYRIGHTED AS POSSIBLE. This isn't us hating on Sprite comics, this is just a need to not get in trouble later on ^_^. So when you're doing your sprite events, make sure your characters and sprites are original. Try not to just do a simple recolor. If you're not sure if your sprite character design is bordering on dangerous, just PM us and ask ^_^. So far we haven't had any trouble with sprite designs, just letting you all know :D

Hero's Story Woo! I've been working on this. Already got a 4 page prologue ready and more to come.

First of all, that's pretty damn awesome. :D

Second of all, this is just a note to everybody in that case: please keep a copy of your stuff that's at least at 300 DPI. Most printers will ask that pages be around that (and usually in .tiff format.) The files will be huge but if you print at 72 DPI, all you're going to get are fuzzy pixalated images. It's best actually to keep it even higher in case they do ask for a higher DPI.

This will probably be a challenge for sprite artists but I think it can be done. They just need to figure out how they will go about making their pages at 300 DPI.

Riot and I are working out details on the printing (It'll be a while down the road, anywho). I'd say for now, do how many you want to. Riot'll probably say "WRONG". But I doubt it.
