I went looking for a "carry-on" size bag today. I was emptying out my enchanted backpack (where I stowed all my UB stuff, hasn't been opened since I moved last year), and I discovered this in a folder -- along with a dozen other drawings far too hideous to see the light of day.
I drew this just prior to Chapter 35, so it's about two years old. I needed a "motley crew" for a flashback sequence, and came up with these three off the top of my head. Interestingly, they didn't require a second draft like most of my main characters. Of course, part of the reason was that they were not supposed to be main characters, just a disposable handful of faces from the past. The decision to introduce them to current plot came later.
For naming, Raidon had his name first. It was one of two names I had considered for Fudo, so I didn't have to think of more. Nick had his name quickly (but was never named in the story) just from the first thing to come to mind.
