| usedbooks | I'm still working on facial details, so bear with me. I like how her nose turned out in this picture. I was aiming for a slightly rounder head, and her lips/smile are a little off, but it's not bad (for my current skill level, heh).
I decided that a psychiatrist would be a useful professional to have in the city and set about designing him/her. My goal in the design was a type unlike the usual, to try new things artistically. I debated between old and young, male and female, different body types, and eventually settled on an older lady, understanding and understated, someone generally non-threatening.
I designed Dr. Shalon in anticipation of using her again in the future. There are several people in the city who could use therapy from time to time, and I think it’s a nice plot/character gimmick to have a character who is privy to secrets and dedicated to confidentiality. -Posted on Nov 24, 2009 |

| User: usedbooks | | | Thanks. ^_^ I kinda like drawing older people because I can add more defining lines to them.
I should draw my main cast's (living) parents sometime (ones without spoiler risks anyway). -Posted on Nov 25, 2009 | | User: JustNoPoint | | 5 | | I'm really liking the added details to the faces ^_^ -Posted on Nov 25, 2009 |
