Mike Sr.'s story was formulated while I was coming up with the "parallel lives" of Seiko and Mike. Kaida became very upset upon hearing what she did of this story, because she knew Fudo as a villain and wanted no similarities to him.
There is a fun Mike Sr. "cameo" in the story before he officially appears in a flashback (Ms. Taney's flashback -- Mike was too young). Check out the circus scene. Kinda evil, no? You might recognize other faces in that crowd. ~_^ That flashback took place only a few weeks before Mike Sr. was killed. You want to know the specific reason Fudo was recruited? Mike Sr. is it.
Of course, by the time I created Mike Sr. I already hated Mike Jr.'s hair, so he was designed to look like an older and more reasonable version of Mike. If I could redesign Mike Jr., this would be his hair (still very emo, but less ridiculous). -Posted on Mar 28, 2009 |
