This little episode has been alluded to a few times before, and I have been looking forward to presenting it. It takes place shortly after this flashback, which might help put it into context.
For anyone who doesn't have a UB timeline permanently affixed to the inside of their skulls, here are some things to help you get your chronological orientation. Ten years ago, Kaida was close to 25 years old. She had been an assassin for around 8 years and divorced for 2 (after a 5 year marriage).
I started working on a complete plot summary for the convenience of new readers who cringe at the archives or long-time readers who want a refresher. It's not finished yet, but I have a good start.

DAJB: I intended to make one for a long time. I've drawn a few, but they were very sloppy.
I'm glad it can be of value. I hate alienating people (especially considering how god-awful the so-called "art" of my early chapters was), but I refuse to stop updating -- so it will continue to get larger. It turns some people away, but I can't really "fix" a large archive.
I like the idea of a summery; this is one of the comics that I've been trying so hard to catch up with, and I just don't have the time, and the archives keep growing! XD
