For anyone keeping count, this is Chapter 74. This title has changed from original. The original title was "Reunions & Plans." It was a more accurate title but not as catchy. I changed the chibi dialogue to match the change. This new title works on a few levels, which you will see soon.
I rewrote the speech in the last panel half a dozen times. It feels forced, but I needed to convey a few concerns in limited space. 1) No one would want to help Fudo. 2) They have no leads and therefore no plan. 3) Seiko maintains hope that he is alive -- but her hope might be exaggerated for Mike's sake.
Warpedwenger & roycemarie: I enjoyed reading it, but I don't think I'd read it again.
Tantz: Lol. No, but I might have to lower my standards a bit. (When you live in fantasy for a long time, reality is always a step down.)
n_y_japlander: His best friend was a magician, so he probably has magic tricks associated with him before. ~_^
DAJB: XD
Peipei: He's always out of the loop. -- Not that that's a bad thing.
amanda: Thanks. The layout was tricky. At this point, I think even a hostile partner would be useful. Seiko's two-man sieges are seldom successful.
ghostrunner: Tada!
trevor: Of course! The other two are bad things. That one has no victims -- if it's done right.
patrick: There are many different kinds and models of handcuffs. I'm not sure they've changed *that* much over time, but a person who knows about cuffs could identify the model and year. -- There are also "Plasticuffs" (those zip-tie things), mostly used in riots.
that kid yellow: It's easy when you have nothing else going on in your life. XD
Not only that, but it feels great. While lies and violence don't feel so great. Although, I admit to getting my violence kick through video games and writing violent comics. ;)
@ Tantz Aerine: I think it's not so much a lack of respect. I think she doesn't want to tell him because she fears what he would think of HER!
She would rather be hated for being a liar and unforthcoming. She's starting to see herself as that anyway. She's really losing touch with herself do to all of this. It's putting her in positions she never faced.
It's a lot easier staying in your perfect moral high horse when you never socialize XD
Oh and sometimes coal can have a diamond on the inside =p
@ page: I like that she's been up for days. I bet she's been actually thinking less about the situation and more about how she has been acting throughout and the heavy weight of loyalty and friendship.
Mmm... I profoundly disagree with you on that one. Just because there are diamonds in literature and not any around on the sidewalks in reality, does not mean they don't exist. And if that is what you want, is lowering your standard with a coal going to please you?
And she should have tried to talk to Tristan. She doesn't seem to respect him much this way. XD
