I'm proud of this title. ^_^ It is actually a spin on a line spoken about a hundred pages ago -- and it refers to the same characters. I like this page, even though I allowed too much space for the title, couldn't think of any cute chibis to use, and the page ended up the wrong dimensions (not tall enough).
ghostrunner: Lol. He kinda does.
Tantz: Not too long a wait. ;-) And Raidon did make some progress with Kaida -- spontaneous or not.
Peipei: Kaida doesn't know any better. She is usually pretty defensive, but she can be swayed.
roycemarie: Raidon's waving. Yuki is just confused. (She's been tailing them.)
DAJB: True. It's very endearing if sincere -- or if it can appear sincere.
amanda: Lol. Takes a lot of charisma to get through Kaida's defenses. She's not a naturally trusting person.
patrickdevine: Probably not entirely, but she does trust him more than she did.
trevoramueller: *Shudders* I couldn't keep track of all that! And I'm not comfortable enough with any kind of art media (digital or otherwise). That fact that I can add text and lines is nothing short of miraculous.
JustNoPoint: Lol. Kaida has been in a pretty sour mood lately. XD It doesn't really matter when you check in, you'll probably find yourself in the middle of a cliffhanger.
I label my layers rather detailed-like. I mean, making balloons is 3+ layers alone (depending on the number of tails). I usually have a layer per area of color; for example, all skin is colored on a single layer, all hair, all shirts, etc. Right there, you're looking at about 7 layers.
It moves pretty quickly now, though. It used to take me 4+ hours to color a page, and now it takes me 2-3 hours. Not too shabby. ;)
Ooh, the title lettering looks like gashes. I suppose that's appropriate. And it's cute how they're sitting around playing something as mundane and harmless as Go Fish ^.^ I would die if that heater (turned all the way up!) were that close to me.
I knew it! It couldn't have been anyone else but dear Fudo. He's the only one I know of who likes to carry a knife around every where he goes xD. Besides, I think he sort of has Seiko's back anyway...I think deep down inside of that cold exterior, he's warm hearted.
Tip for anyone who might find themselves in this position in real life: When sat at a table with someone who's just been dropped in a river with a concrete block tied around their ankles ... "Go fish!" might not be the most tactful thing to say!
;-)
Next time, play something else instead. Like bridge. Oh no, wait ...! Actually best to avoid cards all together!
Love your colour pages. It's like getting an early Christmas present!
