Panel 1 had a major facelift from the original drawing. Pepper's left hand, shopping bag, legs, and part of the skirt were drawn in digitally. In my original scan, the word balloon covered up most of bottom right of the panel. When I looked at it as I started digital stuff, I realized that it was a most godawful and unnatural placement. I figured I must've done it to avoid drawing that part of the picture or something. I also drew Dozer's hair too short in panel 2, so I added and reshaped it quite a bit in PaintShopPro.

I'm leaving (again) today and will be in a hotel tonight. We're picking up my brother for Thanksgiving break. This will not affect my comic schedule in any way. ;-)

amanda: Hehe. Seiko doesn't always make wise decisions, but even she knows to never accept a ride from a stranger -- or a weirdo.
patrickdevine: It's interesting that the path errors were what you picked up on. My big gripes with that panel were the wall and the figures. It's one of those panels that I wish I'd had time to completely redraw. (But, yeah, I can see how straight lines would have helped me with the other proportions and things too.)
Tantz: Seiko does have a bad track record for arriving home in one piece...
Digital tweaks are just another part of the job, unfortunately. I spend more time in post than I do when doing the original artwork the first time around.
I like the cobblestones. I'm a big fan of them in real life, too ^.^ Yay cobblestones! They make for uncomfortable car rides, but they are aesthetically pleasing!
I wonder what Seiko would say or do if she knew Kaida had a hand in the death of her parents...:X It's gonna happen sooner or later with all of these people from the past magically coming out of the word works o.o.
