Panel 3 was amazingly difficult for me. I rewrote the line several times and I couldn't decide on a good facial expression. Initially it was a worried expression. I tried more scared, frowning. Eventually, I settled on a nervous (possibly relieved?) smile. Mike is sort of a coward, so I figure he is either amused by his own fear or he smiles as a defense mechanism.

The shading turned out considerably better than I expected. My biggest problem with my coloring is that it always looks too cheery, but I think I managed to combat that on this page. (Granted, the "coloring" is almost entirely shades of gray...)

spiritmonkey: Nah, other comics do "tense" much more often and better. I just have a habit of ending pages on an unsettling note.

n_y_japlander: Liar! But, yeah, Mike will probably find out for himself.

trevor: I don't want to be reviewed. I have low self-esteem as it is, and as much as I know I suck, I hate to think what a reviewer would say. (Of course, that fear is always fighting with curiosity and the thought of being noticed... Fear wins for me, though.)

amanda: There's always time for manners. ^_^

Peipei: It's usually wise to listen to the one with the gun. XD

blntmaker: I'm glad you're enjoying it. (I thought this one had a slow start, but I am writing longer arcs these days.)

Don't be afraid of some good constructive feedback - that's the only way you become better!

I encourage people to rip my stuff apart. Tell me it's awful - but tell me why, so I can improve upon it and get better. The giant head thing - yeah, notice that my heads haven't been oversized since people started pointing that out to me.

However, I have been starting a photo comic movement on this site - inadvertently, by first doing it in my comic, and inspiring Amanda to do it for the DD Awards. :P

(^O^) See that, you gave me an example at how much better you colored pages are than mine (just don't check out Morning Squirtz, as I like my coloring there)... my coloring is far to bright, therefore I feel much more comfortable with only black!
(^U^) Your coloring on the other hand always rocks! no need to be hard on yourself,... some people can, while the rest of us pretend very vary hard!

(^U^) I love how this page came out!!!! The third panel is extraordinarily nice... the "smile to make me feel better" look is great!!!

Great job on the setting and mood. I'm sure we all hope that the title isn't literal.

Great job with the shading - you're right, far less cheery than normal. My defense mechanism is laughing. Nervous laughing. A lot of it.

Excellent page! It's so much deeper than the others. To hell with 2D drawing from here on out, right?
