This is a great chapter with an awful title. I wrote the whole thing and couldn't think of a title that both described it and avoided giving anything away. So, I just grabbed a phrase from the dialogue that I could draw cute pictures for. ;-) I was going to do the green/brown tones for the whole title picture, but something about Yuki in a lilac/pinkish tank makes me grin.

Seiko's annoying mind-changing quirk was derived from real life. I personally have a bad habit of changing my mind, especially about travel. I chicken out of nearly all trips.

One more "behind the scenes" note. Seiko's new accessory, besides being a cherished gift, has a practical reason for creation. Seiko lost a small piece of her ear to her point-blank encounter. Covering the deformation with a trinket is just easier to draw. (I can add it as an afterthought without having to erase.)

Locoma: I was just saying I don't take offense at things. I'm nearly always "joking around" and prefer others do the same. :-) Sorry I got carried away with the "pirate" yesterday. o.O I changed my personal replies last minute, but it was after you commented.

maritalbliss: Not sure if you were thinking something else, but Brad was at the scene with the police sometime later that night. (Lot of mess to clean up.) He and Yuki could've handled those guys without fatalities. His "small talk" was a gentle way to learn Tristan's alibi. (If you meant something else, please disregard this. :-P )

LanceDanger: Nice to have handy people around. :-)

Peipei: Tristan found her a little hard to refuse after that night. Unfortunately, Seiko had a change of heart. (Chickened out?) On the other hand, he is giving her jewelry now.

n_y_japlander: Not kindness so much as apathy. We have a three story house. We can go days on end without seeing each other.

Jonko: Those two blush way too much. ^_^

I totally meant something else. I got so caught up in the pirate talk...I blathered and made no sense whatsoever. Sorry. Sorry everyone. Say no more, say no more...

What a sweet way to hide the scar. (I totally would'a went to Hawaii with Tristan, I can think of worse ways to spend a couple'a days.)

hehe you didn't need to remove the pirate talking, it wasn't that that got me confused. There are some english phrases I'm not familiar with yet, but I get it now :D

You really have a flair for coloring! I like that and your lighting effects. Good flow on the pace and introduction to a new chapter. Nice wall pattern, too. :)

AND so much for those cursed plane tickets. ^.^ And Tristian is such a sweet guy for getting Seiko that lovely earring.
"What's so intriguiging about a series of violent murders?" OO I may be a crime busting enthusiast, but that sounded like a double negative to me if I ever heard it!
