This is another one of those times when I want the readers to recognize the man in disguise. ;-) The coloring helped that a lot, btw. Before I added color (especially the non-matching beard), it took a little more imagination. I came up with the short ponytail for this disguise. I thought it was cute, so I ended up incorporating it into a character design for Off Hours .
Unimportant FYI: I altered a line on page 613 and re-uploaded. Nothing big, I just decided to change it to my original plans -- I added two words. Lol.
Brogan & ghostrunner: Thanks.
LanceDanger: I feel bad that he had to die -- not for him (an entirely unsympathetic character) but for his wife. However, it probably is the best outcome for her.
roycemarie: I'm glad it came across as genuine. I haven't been in any relationships, but I've been observant of how couples around me relate.
Tantz: ^_~
Peipei: Courts usually look for mens rea (a criminal mindset) when considering sentencing. That's why there are distinctions between premeditated murder and manslaughter. -- Unfortunately, many abused wives snap and kill their husbands in their sleep, which falls under "cold-blooded"/premeditated and carry a coarse punishment. Valerie's act, however, could fall under defense.
DAJB: Thanks. I have always been weak when it comes to conclusions. It's tricky to decide what points need wrapped up and how it can be summarized. I don't actually have a planned ending for this "series" yet. (I have planned endings before, but the story and characters have changed so much that they wouldn't work now.)
trevor: Whatever you say, chief, but be aware that I haven't actually drawn a page in weeks. :-P
patrick: Well, Ricky defies logic, so it takes a special woman... Actually, I can picture most of the characters as narrators, but Seiko lives in her head a little more than the others, so the inner monologue is fitting (and she has done the verbal explanations/sum-ups before).

I love it when you color! I've missed out on some great storytelling on your end too. Plus, you're doing more angles, yes?
