Ooh, that's a good point. I'll have to keep that in mind as sadly all the pages for this scene (and another similar one) have already been drawn, but those are good points of how to think around that problem.

Or perhaps the bars are spell-treated so that they look far apart, but zap the unwary with something nasty if they try to leave the cell! I know what you mean about bending things to make a better picture; perhaps if you had put in horizontal bars too such that his face was framed but the box would then be small enough to prevent his shoulders fitting through?

Ah ha ha! You're right! Dang. I was worried about making sure the characters were visible, but I didn't stop to think about that. Whoops! Let this be a lesson to other artists: do what's right for the work, not for what you personally want. *nod*
