Welcome to the first ever, "Toil and Trouble" comic strip. I am very nervous about doing a comic strip all by myself, without the aid of Ethan--who does all the art for our other comic, Marital Bliss???

Funny! I go crazy sometimes when I can't think of a good title for a story. Sometimes I have one the second I think of it, and sometimes it only comes after I've finished writing. I spent A WHOLE DAY thinking of a title for my comic.

First, the jokes will be mild. This comic strip is meant to be TOTALLY kid friendly. Actually I am in the progress of developing this into a thematic fourth grade curriculum suppliment. So, the humor; may be too young for some of the "audience" here on Drunk Duck. The background changes because she is walking down a hallway. This is the hall in-front of the kitchen in the "Little Cottage" in the graveyard that Abby and Sam and "Broom" live in. I considered a lot of factors when creating "Sam" and decided that really, since he ultimately is Abby's conscience, I'd draw him teeny weeny. ('Cause her conscience is teeny weeny.) It was a character choice...he may be small; but, in the scope of things---he will be the largest thing in the panels.

2 things I have to point out though, 1. Why does the background change in the middle panel? 2. It's kinda hard to see the spider. You should consider that when making the comic. Other than that, I like it. The joke was mild but funny.
