=.= well, after the 3-hour marathon, I feel like my energy has been sucked dry so this page came a lil later than I expected. Not my proudest page either, it's messy and there's lots of white space because I was too lazy to shade/tone/draw the backgrounds my bad. *hides under hat* But here's p60 anyway. XD

*some of you might be confused. The lady was called Riku by Kenji's mother in the previous page, but here, she is being called Makoto-san by Kenji instead. Makoto is Riku's last name. By adding the suffix -san implies a more formal tone and a gesture of courtesy so it means something to the effect of calling someone "Ms. Fields" instead of calling them "Jessica". Correct me if I'm wrong but when Japanese call each other by their first name, it is usually to show that both parties are on intimate/very close terms with one another. So when Kenji calls Riku "Makoto-san", he's trying to maintain a very formal and distant relationship with her as one of the ways to tell her that there is no way in hell he is going to respond to her feelings for him.

The lady in colour in the previous page, as you see here, is Kayla! She's the one Karun ditched to marry Izumi for reasons still unknown.

sidenote: Makoto Riku was modelled after Kotomi (the maid which was previously living under the same house as Karun and Izumi in the first version of To Be Loved). Instead of taking care of the couple (as the maid does in the first version of To Be Loved), she is now caring for Kenji's sick mother. =D
